“Doc’s Da Name 2000” is the 4th studio album by American rapper Redman, released on December 8th, 1998.
The album charted well, peaking at No.11 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and at No.1 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart. It received generally positive reviews from critics as well.
The album was supported by two major singles, “I’ll Be Dat!”, and “Da Goodness” (with Busta Rhymes), as well as two promotional singles, “Let Da Monkey Out” and “I Got A Seecret”.
This album remains as one of Redman’s most underrated albums, and a fantastic album to this day.
