100s is bringing West Coast rap back to the future. His new release, IVRY, is a glimpse into a melodic new chapter for the Berkeley MC, taking classic mack vibes to chic new heights. From the smoothed out Ten Freaky Hoes and the Rick James-worthy Different Type Of Love to the ice cold flows of Inglish Outro and Thru My Veins, 100s spits X-rated bedtime stories worthy of classic Too $hort, but with a modern attitude, approach, and peerless sense of style all his own.
IVRY is Berkeley rapper 100s‘ follow up to Ice Cold Perm. Released on March 6th, 2014, it is his first after signing with Fool’s Gold Records, and his last under the name 100s.
Influenced by g-funk and disco to a much larger extent than its predecessor, IVRY serves to present a much more refined vision of 100s, and his growth as an artist. It was highlighted as mixtape of the week by Stereogum, and named “one of the best albums of 2014 (so far)” by Complex.

After this release, 100s laid his pimp-rap persona to rest, switching to a much different musical style and changing his name to Kossisko.
