Skinny Jeanz and a Mic serves as the debut studio album from Hip-Hop duo, New Boyz. It was released on September 15, 2009, through Asylum Records. The album was originally scheduled to be released on August 18, 2009, but plans were changed for unknown reasons. The album contains features from the likes of Tyga, Ray J, and more. Legacy serves as the main producer of the album, almost producing the entirety of the album. Along with Legacy, the album is also produced by the likes of DJ Felli Fel, Jukebox, Sorry Jaynari, and many more. In an interview with Format Magazine, Legacy talked about being the main producer of the album, saying: I started making beats because I didn’t want everybody else’s sound. We wanted our own sound. So, I had no choice but to make my own beats to get that sound.
