Murphy’s Law is the debut solo studio album by American rapper Murphy Lee, released on September 23, 2003 via Universal Records and Derrty Entertainment. The album features guest appearances from City Spud, Nelly, Jazze Pha, Sleepy Brown, Avery Storm, P. Diddy and many other guests. Murphy’s Law also features production from Jermaine Dupri, Jay E, Mannie Fresh, Jazze Pha and Murphy’s fellow St. Lunatics member, rapper and producer City Spud. Despite being incarcerated at the time of its release, City Spud is credited as a featured artist to “Don’t Blow It”. Murphy’s Law is a 19-track hip-hop album consisting of songs such as “Don’t Blow It” featuring City Spud, “What da Hook Gon Be” featuring Jermaine Dupri and the chart-topping single “Shake Ya Tailfeather” with Nelly and P. Diddy. The album peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200 music chart.
