Sli'merre is the debut collaborative album between rapper Young Nudy and producer Pi'erre Bourne. The album’s title is a portmanteau of “slime” and “Pi'erre.” The term “slime” is used commonly across Nudy’s discography, whether it be in the title of a project or as an ad-lib, whereas “Pi'erre” is the first name of Bourne’s artist alias.
The album’s existence was first teased in an Instagram live stream on July 2018, in which Pi'erre previewed “Extendo.” After a long period of silence, Nudy took to Twitter on January 29, 2019, to revive hype for the project with a tweet which featured a snippet of “Extendo,” accompanied by the caption:

On April 23, 2019, Nudy took to Twitter once again to reveal the album’s official cover art designed by NoIdea. A day later, the album’s first promotional single, “Mister” featuring cousin 21 Savage, was officially released. On May 1, 2019, the album’s second and highly-anticipated single, “Extendo” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, would be released as well.
The rapper-producer duo have worked together on numerous occasions in the past, their most notable collaborations consisting of “EA,” “Yeah Yeah,” “No Clue,” and “Barbecue.”
