South Of Heaven is the fourth studio album from American thrash metal band Slayer. This album in compare with its previous album Reign In Blood has more melodic and slower songs but it is still thrash and has its own Slayer style with heavy and evil sounds. This album is one of the most classic albums of the band also on this record, the vocals are discernable, unlike in most metal and Tom Araya was more focused in his singing and writing lyrics than ever before. South Of Heaven forever marks the point where Slayer became a band whose music was truly steeped in all things twisted and evil.
