California Nights is the seventh studio album by Lesley Gore, released February 1, 1967, through Mercury Records. The album became the last Gore would release on the Mercury Records label. Commercially, the album peaked at #169 on the Billboard 200.
Three singles were released from the album: “Off and Running” and “Treat Me Like a Lady”, which failed to appear on any charts, and “California Nights” which peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200. This would be Gore’s last Top 20 hit.
