PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I, Pentatonix’s sixth studio album, contains covers of numerous pop hits from 2017, as well as a mashup of Aaliyah’s 1998 hit “Are You That Somebody?” and Dua Lipa’s “New Rules.” It was the first record the band created after Matt Sallee joined the group as a replacement for Avi Kaplan, who left in May 2017. The Japanese edition of the album features an additional cover of Aha!’s “Take On Me.”
