The album tackles dark themes of sexual assault, rape, and childhood trauma. These topics were mentioned little in other projects but hinted towards. It’s likely these situations were based on real life events, but it’s unclear. IllKittyDog said he incorporated beats and lyrics from when he was a young kid, around age 13, and that the album was inspired by Kraftwerk.
