On The Way Uptown: The Uptown Saturday Night Demo is the 9th studio album by American hip hop duo Camp Lo. It was released on December 23, 2016. It is not an actual album, however. It is a collection of demos and songs that didn’t make the cut for the two’s 1997 critically acclaimed debut Uptown Saturday Night. Even though the album didn’t chart, it received acclaim from fans. Demos include famous songs such as: - Coolie High (2 demos, the 2nd track and the last track on the album, the latter of which is the second demo and is similar to the one you know and love.) - Park Joint (labelled as Hollywood At the Disco. Uses a different beat.) - Luchini - Sparkle - Say Word - Krystal Karrington - Black Connection New tracks: Sugar Streets Short Eyes Camp Lo (Bust Ya Down) Superfly Crystals & Istols Get It Inta You Two tracks, World Heist and A Piece of the Action, were previously released all the way back in 1996, the latter of which was released as a single, which did not acquire a music video until 2016, 20 years after it was released. World Heist was the B-side for Coolie High.
