Whoa, Nelly! is the debut studio album by Nelly Furtado. The record is critically acclaimed with praise from the combination of sounds such as pop, folk, rock, hip hop, R&B, and many more. It
was a minor success as it peaked at twenty four on the Billboard 200. It spawned four singles, including the worldwide hit singles; “I’m Like a Bird”, “Turn Off the Light” “…on the Radio (Remember the Days)”. It’s been certified double-platinum by the RIAA and four-times platinum by Music Canada. The album is just a minor taste of success for Furtado as she would be later discovered by hit producer Timbaland.
