The album is prominently dance-inspired record. Closer to the Truth marked Cher’s first studio album in over 12 years since the release of Living Proof in 2001. “Woman’s World” was released as the lead single from Closer to the Truth on June 18, 2013. “I Hope You Find It”, was released on October 4, 2013 as the second single from the album. It was followed by promotional singles “Take It Like a Man” and “I Walk Alone”.
