Forever Neverland is the 2nd album from the Danish singer, MØ, after No Mythologies to Follow which was released in 2014. She shared on Instagram that she started to write a song called “Forever Neverland” but never finished, it was still enough to call the album with this same name. The album is inspired by the story of Peter Pan, MØ described her the characters from the album as the same as characters from Peter Pan but who are sailing in the sea instead of flying in the sky. Forever Neverland is a place disconnected from the world we live in now where all of our dreams are possible. The first single “Nostalgia” dropped on March 29th and was followed on July 12th by “Sun In Our Eyes”. On the same day she officialy announced the name and the release date of her sophomore album on Instagram adding that “Sun In Our Eyes” is the lead single of it. Later (09/05/2018) she posted on YouTube a trailer of the album that included a snippet of “West Hollywood”. The album includes songs that MØ already perfomed at festivals and concerts (such as “Mercy”) as well as new songs written in 2018 and never heard before.
