“New Waves” is the debut studio album by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone. The duo used a shortened name—Bone Thugs—to represent a departure from the normal Bone Thugs-N-Harmony sound. The ominous keys and creeping basslines that the group was known for in the 1990s and 2000s is replaced with more contemporary-sounding EDM and pop-inspired beats.
The album was proceeded by the single releases “Coming Home,” “If Heaven Had a Cellphone,” “Fantasy,” and “Change the Story.” The album peaked at #181 on the Billboard 200 chart.
