So Far Gone is Drake’s third mixtape and it was released on February 13, 2009, under his October’s Very Own label. This project is considered to be a modern classic and is one that launched Drake’s career to an international level. Furthermore, this mixtape led to Drake signing to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label on June 2009.
It features rappers like Lil Wayne and Bun B and singers like Trey Songz, Lloyd, Lykke Li and Omarion. Also, it features production by the likes of Noah “40” Shebib, Boi-1da, Just Blaze and Arthur McArthur.
An EP version of So Far Gone, consisting of five songs from the mixtape and two additional tracks, “I’m Goin In” and “Fear,” was released on September 15, 2009. However, after a 10th anniversary remaster of the entire 18-track mixtape in its original tracklisting was re-released to all streaming services. Unfortunately, on February 15th, 2019, the EP was subsequently removed.
