ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ (A.A.B.A.) is the second studio album by Pro Era-frontman Joey Bada$$. It was released on April 7, 2017, 5 years after Pro Era co-founder Capital STEEZ dropped AmeriKKKan Korruption. The album produced three singles prior to its release: “LAND OF THE FREE,” “DEVASTATED,” and “ROCKABYE BABY.” On March 2, 2017, Joey shared a video which confirmed the release date and title of his album. ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ marked two new collaborations for Joey (ScHoolboy Q and J. Cole), while also showing musical chemistry with artists Joey has apparently wanted to work with again: Meechy Darko (who is a part of the Beast Coast with Joey), Styles P (the two collaborated on 2016’s “Just Rhymin'”), Chronixx (the two collaborated on 2015’s “Belly of the Beast”), and Kirk Knight and Nyck Caution (both of whom are in Pro Era with Joey)—the bar-for-bar verse of the latter two in “RING THE ALARM” actually marked the debut of Nyck @ Knight.
