The second album released by heavy metal band System of a Down, Toxicity is arguably the band’s most popular album; it sold approximately 2,700,000 copies in the US alone, and contains three of the band’s biggest hits; “Chop Suey!,” “Toxicity,” and “Aerials.” The song “Chop Suey!” was put on the 2001 Clear Channel memorandum, a list of “lyrically questionable” songs released after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
