The Death of Adam is the debut album by producer 88-Keys. It is a concept album that follows the mysterious circumstances surrounding a young man named Adam and his death after he was found murdered in his Harlem loft apartment. It features guest appearances from artists such as Alternative Rapper Kid Cudi, New Wave R&B artists' j*DaVeY, Neo-Soul singer Bilal, as well as the album’s co-producer, before he was Yeezus and was still Mr. Louis Vuitton Don, the incomparable Kanye West.
Speaking about the album’s concept, he was quoted during an interview in 2008:
The entire album is about the power of the punani, if you will. The album follows the story line of my man Adam who passed away and basically how he died. It all started off with him catching a boner one morning, morning wood, and his life starts to spin out of control from there.
