The album was preceded by 3 singles: “Heart Is Full,” “Genghis Khan,” and “The Heart of Me.” “Genghis Khan” was easily their most successful, reaching number 7 on the US Alternative Songs chart. This helped their album chart in 4 countries, and number 47 in the US. The band said of the record: There’s a lot more organic sounds in this album. Ultimately the first album had a minimalism to it that was similar to electronic music and there were certain key moments where there was electronic music playing a prominent role. We’ve always been pretty much piano, drums and bass but it’s how you do it that makes it sound a little different.
