Flockaveli - Waka Flocka Flame
Flockaveli

Flockaveli is Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s debut studio album, released through 1017 Bricksquad Records and Asylum Records. The title of the album is a portmanteau of Waka Flocka Flame’s name and that of the Italian political theorist, Machiavelli, inspired by the late 2Pac, whose final stage name and pseudonym before his death was Makaveli. The album contains a wide variety of features, ranging from French Montana, Wale, Gudda Gudda to Uncle Murda, Slim Dunkin and Roscoe Dash. It also contains legendary production from fellow producer Lex Luger, who had produced the majority of the album, along with Lil Jon, Southside, Purps, and many more. It was supported by four singles, all of which are Waka’s most popular singles to date: 2009’s “O Let’s Do It,” 2010’s “No Hands” and “Hard in da Paint,” and “Grove St. Party,” which was released as a standalone single on February 15, 2011, following the release of the album. Following the release of Flockaveli, the album received a cult following from fans, calling this album one of the best Crunk albums, if not, one of the best Hip-Hop albums of all time, from it’s production to the energy Waka delivers throughout the album. Thanks to the success of the album, Waka released the Flockaveli 1.5 mixtape to get fans hyped up for it’s long-awaited sequel, of which is unknown when it will be released.
