Joey Bada$$ (born Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott) is an American rapper, actor, and record producer hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Becoming known for his rugged style, an invigorating outcome of his Brooklyn neighborhood and surroundings, Joey Bada$$ has been a staple in the Hip-Hop industry for maintaining an authentic, unique and versatile sound. Whereas other rappers may take less risks with formulaic projects, Joey never shies away from keeping his music raw and original. He is a co-founder of the collective Pro Era, with whom he has released two mixtapes and toured the globe multiple times XXXTENTACION also known as Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, Yung Dagger D*ck or simply Jahseh was another pioneer of the SoundCloud genre. Jahseh had two different types of music—aggressive bass boosted music which would give you goosebumps, or his other type of music which would show Jahseh’s inner feelings and describe what would be going on in his mysterious mind. Jahseh lost his life on June 18, 2018 when he was fatally shot by multiple robbers. He was only 20 years old.
