HIVEMIND!

HIVEMIND!, real name Aidan Jackson, is a 14-year old high school Freshman living in San Diego, California. He has been rapping since late 2017. His first ever single, “Lost & Found”, was posted to SoundCloud in December that year. It was to be the lead single for his debut album, “Forever’s End”. The song was deleted from SoundCloud in December of 2018. Though rapping was Jackson’s first real endeavor in music, he was producing his own instrumentals all throughout 2016 and early 2017. The projects he put out consisted of “Minute Hand”, “losing”, “the longest time EP” and “Minute Hand II”, among others. From the release of “Minute Hand” up until the release of “THE BB$ TAPE” in January 2019, he went by the name “Big Boy $avage”, which was later shortened to “BB$”, and then finally changed to HIVEMIND!. The reason for the name change was because he felt it wasn’t who he was anymore. He wanted to be taken seriously, as a true artist. The name HIVEMIND! represented his thought process, and was also a nod to his alter egos he commonly portrayed within his songs: Mr. Time (my past) Dr. Royalty (my future/hopes) Rose Boy (my darkness) JCNADIA (my light/my reflection) Jackson currently has two albums and two mixtapes out on his SoundCloud, three of which he fully produced himself. He is currently working on “CALIFORNIA$UN$ET II” (shortened to C$2), his third album and the followup to his 2018 album with the same name. Jackson wants to pursue music as a career. Through the darkness in his life, he has always turned to music for support. With inspirations from Travis Scott, BROCKHAMPTON, Logic, J.
