Do You Want More?!!!??! - The Roots
Do You Want More?!!!??!

Do You Want More?!!!??!, released in 1995, is The Roots' sophomore album and their major label debut on Geffen Records. Much like their 1993 self-released album, Organix, The Roots took a jazz-influenced approach to hip-hop on this album. They made minimal use of sampling and incorporated a full band, including keyboardist Kamal Gray, drummer Questlove, bassist Leonard Hubbard, rappers Black Thought and Malik B, and beatboxer Rahzel; the use of a full band contrasted the heavily produced sound that was popular at the time. The album also has features from frequent Roots collaborator Dice Raw, as well as spoken word poet Ursula Rucker. On November 2, 2015, over 20 years after its release, Do You Want More?!!!??! was certified Gold by the RIAA for having sold over 500,000 units.
