After releasing his first three albums on Epic Records, Jon B. left the label and released his fourth album Stronger Everyday on October 5, 2004 after he was signed to Sanctuary Records by Destiny’s Child’s manager Matthew Knowles. Jon was initially recording the album for DreamWorks Records with the working title Everyday Struggles but the label closed its doors in 2004, allowing Jon to release his album through Sanctuary. This album features appearances from 2Pac, Scarface, Babyface, Beenie Man, Tank and Just Blaze while Jon B. handled more than half of the album’s production himself. The album received many favorable reviews but didn’t sell well due to a lack of promotion from the label.
