Here I Stand is Usher’s fifth studio album, released on May 13, 2008. Originally titled Measure of a Man, the album was inspired by love for his then-new wife Tameka Foster and son. According to Usher, he named it Here I Stand to mark “a new chapter in [his] life”. Here I Stand contains features by Jeezy, Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, will.i.am, and Jay Z, with production by Polow da Don, Jermaine Dupri, The-Dream, Jazze Pha, and many more. The album reached #1 on both the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, with six singles released: “Love in This Club”, “Love in This Club Part II”, “Moving Mountains”, “What’s Your Name”, “Here I Stand”, and “Trading Places”.
