Charmbracelet - Mariah Carey
Charmbracelet

Charmbracelet is the ninth album by Mariah Carey. The record is Mariah’s first studio album since her critically-panned Glitter soundtrack. This time, the album goes back to Carey’s R&B roots (with a bit of pop and jazz) and is a personal album for the songstress with themes such as love and commemoration. The record performed moderately, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200, four in Oricon Albums Chart, and the top twenty in other countries. Three singles were released; “Through the Rain”, “Boy (I Need You)”, and “Bringin' On the Heartbreak”. They each performed well worldwide, but failed to garner attraction in the US. The record has sold three million copies worldwide and has been certified gold in countries such as the UK, France, Canada, and Brazil. It’s certified platinum in the US.
