M.A.D.E - Memphis Bleek
M.A.D.E

Bleek’s worst performing record on the US Charts, it did manage to go Gold, peaking at number 35. It’s his third record, and features a diverse producer list, with Just Blaze and Kanye West both providing outstanding cuts. During the Drink Champs podcast Bleek explained he personally chose “Round Here” as the lead single, preferring it over the Jay Z assisted “Everything’s A Go.” The introduction of rapper T.I. to the New York landscape is, in hindsight, viewed as visionary. The album focuses on Bleek’s major career lyrical themes: Drugs, Guns, and Women. It received lukewarm reviews, despite the star power and money that was invested into it.
