A year after HighKeyRandom bared his emotions on “Jewelry”, he drops “Love Parade”, featuring production from Humbeats, Stoopkid, and JG on the Keys. “One thing I can say about the album is that I didn’t speak to the music – I let the music speak to me,” he says. “On each song you can hear my pain and progression. The one thing you can’t do is quit, no matter how hard it gets.” Recently, HighKeyRandom released a video for “Paris”, with Jovian Marshon. The MuddyMassFilms-directed video featured the two artists dancing through the streets of Boston. On one of the album’s standout tracks, “On My Soul,” he raps: “Put this on my soul you can’t replace me,” a line that reflects HighKey’s position as one of Boston’s hottest artists who’s in it for the long haul.
