Being released only months after his album Apologies in Advance Sylvan decided to drop these songs as a “visual experience”. The project was inspired by the passing of Sylvan’s grandmother in May 2018. The premise of the project is to sample and flip songs originally released by Florida rappers-as Sylvan is originally from Miami, Florida- in an effort to unite people from the region through the power of music. Such artists include Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy and T-Pain. In addition to just uniting people through his music, Sylvan has stated that all proceeds will be directed towards South Florida charities via wiseup.co.
