Illmatic: Live From The Kennedy Center - Nas
Illmatic: Live From The Kennedy Center

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of his highly celebrated debut album, Illmatic, Nas performed the LP in its entirety on March 28, 2014 at Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center. Throughout the performance, he offered a symphonic rendition of all 10 songs found on Illmatic, being backed up by the National Symphony Orchestra. However, it wasn’t until three years later when Nas' symphonic performance was made available on both the shelves and streaming platforms almost exactly 24 years after Illmatic was first released. His performance was also made public on national television as it was aired live by PBS.
