The album quickly sold over 300,000 copies, primarily in New Orleans,Louisiana following B.G.’s success. Although Get It How U Live!! is a rap album, it managed to peak at #37 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums in 1997. All tracks featured on the album were produced by Mannie Fresh.
