So Icey Boy (Disc 1) is a mixtape from Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane and hosted by frequent collaborator Supastar J. Kwik. The 12-track project was released on April 4, 2008, and includes features from OJ da Juiceman and Lady Wray. The mixtape’s sequel, So Icey Boy (Disc 2), was released on September 28 of the same year. J. Kwik approached LiveMixtapes, a new mixtape site at the time, and asked to premiere the tape on their site. The popularity of Disc 1 brought LiveMixtapes newfound fame, and led other artists to promote their music on the site.
