Dreams and Nightmares - Meek Mill
Dreams and Nightmares

Dreams and Nightmares is Meek Mill’s debut LP and was released on October 30, 2012. It peaked at number two on the Billboard charts, and has since been certified gold by the RIAA. The album was backed by four singles along with the controversial lead “Amen,” which received some criticism for Meek’s blasphemous lyrics. Meek promoted the album through countlessly previewing and his “Dream Chaser” Headlining Tour. It was scheduled to be released on August 28 but was later pushed to October 30. In a May 2012 interview with MTV News, Meek spoke about the album and it’s expectations: You can expect quality music and you’re gonna get the real me. It ain’t gonna be all over the place like the mixtapes. This album I'ma make it connect, I'ma try to perfect my craft a little more; make sure the flows touch the beats a little better, make sure the beasts sound clearer.
