Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme - Reks
Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme

Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme is the fifth album released by Reks on March 8, 2011 by ShowOff and Brick Records. It is available on Amazon strictly as a CD, Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music. This marked the tenth year anniversary of his first album, Along Came The Chosen. It was recorded throughout 2010, the previous year. The name of this album is an anagram for Reks' name: Rhymatic Eternal King Supreme. The lead single was “25th Hour”, released on January 15 of the same year and produced by DJ Premier. The album received mostly positive criticism upon its release. On Amazon as of January 10, 2018, it has a 4.5 out of 5 star rating. HipHopDX gave it a 4 out of 5 rating the day after release and “abundance of brazen lyricism”, noting Reks' more introspective approach compared to his previous projects. Uproxx’s Christopher Paicely stated that Reks “still has one of nicest flows in the game”, but it [the project] “also proves flow means nothing without creative subject matter” and it “sounds like he’s trying to ride those beats”. Most critics agreed that while the album had a solid foundation, it still felt short in some aspects.
