Out of the blue, Lecrae drops the third mixtape of his “Church Clothes” series, Church Clothes 3, in similar fashion to Drake who did it in 2015 with his If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late mixtape, and Beyoncé who did it in 2013 with her self-titled 5th studio album. This comes just over a year after his chart-topping album Anomaly, and follows a monumental year for Lecrae as he packed on many notable accolades including winning his 2nd Grammy award. Some highlights on the mixtape include S1 of Kanye West’s “Very G.O.O.D. Beats” in-house production crew, who executive produced the mixtape and legendary Bay Area rapper E-40 who’s featured on “Can’t Do You”.
