The third record from British singer Katy B, Honey is notable for its huge track “Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)” featuring Tinie Tempah. It has sold 400,000 copies, and is her first number 1. It helped the record make it to number 22 on the UK Album charts, although critics haven’t been kind, and it currently has a score of 63 on Metacritic, indicating “mixed” reviews. Katy revealed that the title Honey is simply because she is a “big fan of honey in general.” I am fascinated by how beautiful it is, it’s a real gift. Her collaborator list is also impressive, with Diplo, KAYTRANADA, What’s My Name Part. 2 and Geeneus all featuring. All of them got together to work with Fader to break down the meaning of each track.
