50 Cent is The Future is the 1st mixtape of the core 3 members of the G-Unit (Tony Yayo, 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks), this mixtape was recorded at the house of 50’s manager at the time Sean Money XL, and hosted by Sean’s cousin DJ Whoo Kid,who would later go to on to become an integral part of G-Unit’s mixtapes, this tape was released a month after 50 dropped his first solo mixtape/the tape that put him on Eminem’s radar, Guess Who’s Back, this is also when Young Buck made his first appearance on something G-Unit related, although he was with U.T.P. at this time, you can still see the chemistry he had with G-Unit, and he would go on to become an official member of the group the year after
