The Fool is Ryn Weaver’s full-length debut album, following up her debut EP Promises. It’s electro-pop with alternative sensibilities. It was released on June 16, 2015. Ryn says this of the record on her Twitter account: I wanted to write a record that refrained from desperate love songs. The album has a tone of independence and strength which is something I feel is lacking in female centric music, that is very much present in society. I wanted to present the choices of freedom vs attachment. “OctaHate” leads the effort.
