Sex, Money, & Hip Hop is the 2nd studio album by rapper Crooked I, but the first under the moniker KXNG CROOKED. Back in 2013, Crooked debuted the name change when he introduced himself with it during his appearance in the “Shady XV Cypher”. He later revealed to MTV that he changed his name for the release of this album. On December 15, 2013, Crooked uploaded a letter to fans on the internet, asking them not to leak the album online. The album was heavily supported by singles “Freestylin' Under Oath” and the Slaughterhouse assisted track “Total Slaughter”.
