On August 28, 2014, 1017 Records released 1017 Thug 3: The Finale under Young Thug’s name. It’s the sequel to 1017 Thug 2 and the final installment in the 1017 Thug mixtape trilogy. Like the previous installment in the series, Thugger did not participate in putting the project together; it’s just a compilation of songs that Gucci’s engineer put together to get Thug off his 1017 contract. Gucci Mane, Duke, Metro Boomin, DJ Mustard, and more show up to contribute.
